8. The Characters From Other Shows Are Great

As had been revealed prior to airing, both Carrie-Anne Moss and Rosario Dawson are reprising their roles as Jeri Hogarth and Claire Temple respectively.

It's not much of a surprise: Hogarth has a long history with Rand in the comics, and is becoming a bigger player in the universe after a brief cameo in Daredevil's second season. Temple, meanwhile, is a key link between all the shows, like the TV universe's Nick Fury.

Perhaps it's because they come from better written shows, or just that they've had longer to play and understand these characters (likely a combination of the two), but they do stand out above the rest when they appear.

Both characters have a lot of personality, something much needed in the show. The series doesn't have the strongest dialogue, but Moss' delivery helps sell her relationship with Danny Rand, while Dawson's well-established charisma and cut-the-BS attitude towards it all play as well here as they have in every other show.
