Marvel's Iron Fist: 10 Things That Must Happen In Season 2

4. A More Assured, Kickass Danny Rand

One of the big criticisms about Iron Fist is the presentation of Danny Rand. Sidestepping the 'should he have been Asian?' argument for a moment, what's stopping viewers from rooting for the character is his frequent petulance, naivety, and emotional outbursts. The central arc of the season is Danny discovering who he wants to be, but he still should have had a consistent, likeable personality.

Come season two, it would be to the show's benefit if Danny was portrayed as more assured and in control. By that time, he will have saved New York with the Defenders (well, presumably), which will no doubt solve some of his issues with his self-belief and fears that he isn't doing enough good.

Besides that, it would also be great to see Danny presented as more of the master warrior that he is. This is a guy who has defeated a dragon, for crying out loud, he should definitely seem more badass than he currently does.
