31. The Ringmaster

When Colleen secretly makes money for the dojo by joining a fight club, the compere is officially known as The Ringmaster (according to IMDB). That might not mean a great deal to most, but in the comics, The Ringmaster was a mind-controlling, flamboyant Spider-Man villain.

This may be accidental, of course, but since when were ring announcers known as Ringmasters? It's too purposeful to not be a nod. And then there's his similarly flamboyant dress sense, which also can't be accidental.
