Having made her debut in Jessica Jones and then on a single episode of Daredevil, Jeri Hogarth returns to the show, as the lawyer Danny Rand hires to help him fight the Meachams for control of his father's company.

In the comics, the male version of the character - Jeryn - became the executor of Wendell Rand's estate upon his death (the pair were friends) and he becomes the attorney for the Heroes for Hire. She'll be back for The Defenders too.

Incidentally, Danny calls her J-Money - a nickname from her time working under his father - which she absolutely would never have accepted ever.
