12. Pete's Dragon & Xanadu

There are a couple of weird throw-away movie references in later episodes of the show.

When Danny Rand brings up mention of Shou-Lao to Claire Temple she scoffs at the idea of dragons existing, saying the only dragon she knows is Pete's Dragon (at which point Danny deadpans that he doesn't know who Pete is).

And Claire also swipes at the idea of a mystical city by calling K'Un Lun Xanadu, which of course refers to the mystical fantasy flop starring Olivia Newton John.

There's also a throw-away reference to The Best Little Whore House In Texas, the Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton comedy. Eclectic, isn't it?
