Marvel's Iron Fist: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

Madame Gao first made her name in Daredevil, and the fact we've already been introduced to her and know at least a little of the character certainly helps her standing here.

A frightfully devilish woman, her small stature and old age are used as a mask for an impressive amount of power and influence, even if parts of her character are still being held back (the Crane Mother reveal will likely come in The Defenders now).

The show is full of characters making rash, impulsive decisions, and Gao stands out as a calm head amongst them all, showing up to deliver big speeches, and show off her true reach and occasionally chilling malevolence. While the Hand have plenty of troubles, Gao makes for a convincing head of the group.

In a series lacking one true main villain throughout its run, Gao is the closest (and the best) we come.
