Marvel's Iron Fist: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

7. Harold Meachum

Harold Meachum is a strange beast, in more ways than one. Not only is he another back-from-the-dead character at the mercy of the Hand (his actions don't bode too well for Elektra in the future), but also a freakish monster (his son has him saved as Frank Stein in his phone, as if it wasn't clear), a businessman, an apparent ally of Danny despite it all, and in the end a major villain.

Although the fact he's trapped by the Hand means you can sympathise with him to an extent, the lack of focus on exactly what he's supposed to be does his character favour.

By the time we get the obvious reveal that he's the one who killed Danny's parents, he's descended into full-on moustache-twirling villainy, which feels way OTT, and without being deserving of the main villain spot. Still, David Wenham gives it his all, and he does provide at least a few moments of real entertainment.
