Marvel's Iron Fist: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best
4. Davos
Sacha Dhawan is one of the busiest actors in British television at the moment, appearing in everything from Sherlock to Mr Selfridge in the last year alone. Thankfully, given he's everywhere of late, he's also emerging as one of the best (relatively) new talents around, and surely destined for a major role sooner or later (he's one of my picks to replace Peter Capaldi as the Doctor).
He appears late in the day in Iron Fist, but makes a big splash as Davos, an old friend of Danny's from K'un-Lun. Given we don't see much of the city, he provides one of our strongest links to the mystical land, and makes for a more convincing part of that world.
He's completely convincing in his belief in what the Iron Fist should be and his unwavering loyalty to K'un-Lun, things Danny is totally lacking. At the same time, he gets to play a few charming notes as a fish-out-of-water, such as when he discovers pizza. How Danny beat Davos to be Iron Fist is a mystery, and even though his arc is the exact same as Mordo's from Doctor Strange, he's a much more compelling character than his old mate.
