Marvel's Iron Fist: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best

3. Zhou Cheng

As revealed by the actor himself, Lewis Tan originally auditioned for the role of Danny Rand, before landing the part of Zhou Cheng instead.

Based on Cheng's scene, it's a massive shame he didn't get the main role, because he absolutely would've killed it. This isn't even a question of ethnicity, but the fact that Tan is far more equipped in the action stakes - he wouldn't need a stuntman, and thus the show wouldn't need so many badly edited fight scenes - and he's effortlessly charismatic.

As it is, we only got one scene with him, but it's enough to catapult him to the top three because of how awesome it is. Drunk and sleeping in front of a door, it turns out he's actually the man charged with killing every iteration of the Iron Fist.

Despite the fact that he's completely hammered, he very almost adds another Iron Fist to his list of scalps. His previous work as a stuntman shines through in the action, which is the best of the series, and blends with his charisma and drunkenness to provide a comedy highpoint as well.
