Marvel's Iron Fist: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best
12. Ward Meachum
If he weren't such an important part of the show, Ward Meachum might not be so bad a character. He'd still be the weakest of the Meachums, but his narrative importance means he also makes for one of the weakest of the main characters.
The biggest issue with Ward is that he's just incredibly bland, especially in the first half of the season. He does get some points for killing Harold (although he doesn't stay dead, and it's a twist we've seen before (also in the seventh episode) in Luke Cage).
He's at the epicentre of the show's boardroom billionaire boredom, a stereotypical rich guy with dug problems and daddy issues (albeit not your regular daddy issues).
We see he was a jerk as a kid, and is an even bigger jerk as an adult. There are signs of an engaging story for him later on, but he's so uninteresting it's hard to care or even just enjoy by the time it starts happening.
