Marvel's Jessica Jones: 5 Ways Kilgrave Could Return In Season 2

2. The Purple Children

To further reiterate just how much of an evil creep Kilgrave is, Jessica hasn't been his only mental captive. In fact, in the comics, Purple Man's mind-controlled relationships later gave way to children, with powers remarkably similar to that of his own. They didn't manifest in the children until their teenage years (as the X-Men saying goes), but, imaginably, they began to question their parents when their skin turned purple.

Said questions lead them to Kilgrave who, being an evil guy and all, hatches a plan to use their combined mind-control-iness to influence large swathes of the populace. The kids, however, catch onto the fact that their da's an evil guy, and convince him to walk into an oncoming train. Ouch.

He returns in any event, but still, it would be an interesting and sinister angle to explore in the Jones series. We know that Kilgrave targeted other people before he encountered Jessica, and, if there are mini Kilgraves walking around, it'd be a good case for Alias Investigations to crack.
