Having appeared first in Jessica Jones, Reva Connors returns, with her backstory and relationship with Luke shown in the flashbacks of him in Seagate prison.
It turns out she was a psychiatrist employed by the prison when she met him.
There's also more of the backstory to the mysterious file that Jessica stole from Reva for The Purple Man. it contains all of the experiments that went on at Seagate, including Luke's. This is probably the self same flash-drive.
