Finest Moment: Throwing sass at Diamondback.

When Pop is shockingly killed in only the second episode, his spirit lives on thanks to presence of chess enthusiast Bobby Fish (named after chess champion Bobby Fischer). He becomes Cage's de facto watcher, reminding him of Pop's philosophy and encouraging him to take on the role his friend always wanted him to.

Fish actually suggests how deep Pop's influence and network went, despite appearances. He works sort of like a lieutenant, despite appearing to just be a barbershop regular, and he knows exactly what Harlem is and what it should be.

The performance is great, but he's no more than a supporting player - even if he has that great moment of sass calling Diamondback a "pimp Stormtrooper" in the face of seeming death.
