It feels a little like the Netflix shows have been trying to downplay Stan Lee's cameos even as the mainline MCU has been making them more impressive and funnier.

Following on from Lee's appearance as the poster boy for positive policing in Hell's Kitchen and Harlem, he's back in the same vein in The Defenders.

The only time you can spot him is in the background of a street scene in an early episode as Jessica Jones tails Matt Murdock.
