With just about every major supporting character from all four Marvel-Netflix shows coming along for the party, someone was always going to draw the short straw. Unfortunately for Eka Darville, that ended up being Jessica's pal Malcolm.

Though he appears in four episodes of The Defenders, you will be hard-pressed to think of anything of significance that Malcolm brings to the table. He shares a few words with Jessica and Trish now and again, but mostly he is totally superfluous to proceedings. Just another familiar face to fill up the Harlem precinct.
