Marvel Cinematic Universe: 10 TV Shows That Need To Happen

9. Runaways

Speaking of Spider-Man, now that Marvel is introducing their most famous teenage hero to their Cinematic Universe it might be time to expand it out to their other younger heroes - and the best option for this would be to adapt Runaways into a TV series. Created by Brian K Vaughan and continued by the likes of The Avengers' very own Joss Whedon, Runaways focuses on a bunch of kids who discover their parents are supervillains and so try to atone for their actions by becoming heroes. While it is on the wackier side of comicdom - the original team involves a witch, an alien and a girl who is telepathically linked to a dinosaur - Marvel does seem to be branching out that way in its upcoming films so there is no reason it also shouldn't do so on the small screen. Away from the wackiness, the series is known for its wit, drama and intrigue and would no doubt become as much a favourite of TV viewers as it was with comic fans.
