8. So Elektra's Really Dead?
The tortured love story between Matt Murdock and Elektra Natchios has been the driving force of the past two seasons Daredevil's appeared in, so it was pretty refreshing for her not to show up in Season 3. However, it does seem rather out of character for her to stay dead, even if she did have a building fall on her at the end of The Defenders.
Elektra was brought back to life once by the Hand, and now that she's the Black Sky she may be even harder to kill. However, the early episodes of Season 3 see Matt come to terms with her death, which contribute to his initial reluctance to reclaim his everyday life. So it seems she is gone for good, much like the rest of the evil ninja clan.
Alternatively, what if it was Elektra who saved Matt from dying under the wreckage of Midland Circle? It's established that it's a miracle he washed up into the sewers. Perhaps Elektra sent him into the tunnels to save him before making herself scarce.
