The complete annihilation of the Irish gang was a shocking moment itself, but it's what comes after that seems really out of place. 

As the police and sweeping the scene and surveying the massacre, the camera slowly pans to one of the dead members. His phone lights up with an incoming call, with a ringtone you could perform an Irish jig to. It was a moment of dark humour, the jaunty tone undercutting the serious scene and mass bloodshed. Happy (day after) St Patrick's Day, e'rybody.
