The First Chapter wasn't just released on IMAX screens but was also, in fact, shot with IMAX cameras, which are able to capture greater details as well as manage higher frame rates as opposed to typical TV or movie cameras. And from the first few moments of the episode, this upgrade in technology absolutely shows.

In spite of the aforementioned awkward acting in the scene, the opening sequence of Inhumans was shot beautifully. The details of every aspect, from the militia's boots stomping in the mud, to their guns being locked and loaded, to the rain in the tropical environment, are crisp and palpable.

In addition, a quality level of cinematography is consistent throughout the episode along with the powerful cameras that help make everything look so good. And the beautiful Hawaiian setting that Inhumans utilizes is greatly amplified by this. Sure, the CGI isn't amazing, but you have to keep in mind that it is still a TV show.

Also, considering that several action scenes from the rest of the series were filmed with the same technology, it's safe to say we can expect some more great camera work, even on the small screen.
