19. Senator Ori

Gun control is the other hot button issue the show focuses on, with Senator Stan Ori - who shows a stern anti-gun stance - becoming the target of Lewis Wilson when he appears in an interview with Karen Page.

In the comics, Ori is a villain who has affiliations with the mob and whose son was killed by Frank (he was a dirty cop - nice family) and who made it his business to bring him down in revenge. He's not the same guy here, and the only villainy he shows is when he cowardly pushes Karen into a bad guy to save himself.

In the comics, he appeared in War Journal during “The Sicilian Saga” story line, and his villainy may suggest we'll see more of that sort of development in a potential Punisher season?
