There are a couple of characters who pop up all the way through the Netflix Marvelverse and a couple are back here once more.

Brett Mahoney once more appears, having debuted in the first Daredevil season and returned for the second season and a cameo in Jessica Jones. He was actually the arresting officer of The Punisher when Daredevil handed him over, and here he's one of the investigating detectives looking into Lewis Wilson's attacks with Dinah Madani.

Presumably, in future seasons he'll ascend all the way to Commissioner.
