17. The Black Widow Reference

There aren't actually a great deal of MCU references in here. The Avengers tower appears once briefly but it's now out of commission in the mainline MCU anyway, but beyond that it's pretty slim pickings.

There is one very nice little reference to Black Widow though in episode 6 when Lewis Wilson snaps and kills impostor veteran O'Connor. In his house, on top of his TV, there's a stack of old VHS tapes, including Black Widow.

Now, it's a tape of 1987 thriller Black Widow, starring Debra Winger and Theresa Russell, but the reference is very obvious to Natasha Romanoff. Maybe a set dresser who believes she should have had her own movie, perhaps?
