Marvel's The Punisher: Ranking Every Major Character From Worst To Best
4. Dinah Madani
As I said earlier, the central conspiracy storyline of The Punisher was fairly underwhelming, which sadly means that a lot of the Homeland Security stuff led by Dinah Madani was still not as good as it could have been, either. However, the character herself was a strong one, with Amber Revah Rose rising above the sometimes overly-familiar writing to make Dinah a worthy co-protagonist for the show.
In effect, Dinah had a similar character arc to Luke Cage's Misty Knight, in that she is an officer of the law whose end goals happen to align with a vigilante. However, the dynamic between Frank and Dinah remains frosty throughout, and therefore more interesting - they're just situational allies rather than categorically on the same side.
All in all, Dinah is another in the gratefully long line of tough, capable but still well-rounded and flawed women in the Marvel-Netflix shows. It should be interesting to see how Frank and Dinah cross paths again in season 2.
