10. Krista Dumont
In terms of humanizing Billy and transforming him into more of a tragic figure, Krista Dumont's role in season 2 works very well. However, as a character in her own right, Krista falls flat as her arc across the seasons is pretty ludicrous.
Put simply, Krista begins as a committed therapist and ends up attempting to kill Dinah, by way of orchestrating the deaths of three innocent women to frame Castle. Daredevil season 3 demonstrated how to show someone spiraling out of control with Bullseye, but in this case Krista's arc just doesn't ring true.
The reveal of her past is also kept back far too long, meaning the dramatic irony of her being pushed through a window - as she was by her father as a child - didn't have the punch it should have. We are kept guessing about her true motives so long that the explanation that she actually does love Billy and just has some childhood hang-ups feels anticlimatic and doesn't really justify her murderous actions.
