Master Of None: 10 Reasons It's The Most Underrated Netflix Original Series

6. It Gives Great Relationship Advice...

Master Of None
Netflix

This is mostly done in the first season, as Dev tries to work things out with Rachel. He's a 33 year old, constantly looking for love. He's questioning his feelings, experiences uncertainty, but also he wants to settle down with her. Dev genuinely loves Rachel and the feeling is mutual. The problem is that there's too much possibilities and it's easy to get distracted when trying to be with somebody.

The show encourages the viewer to never stop trying. Sometimes things between people just don't work out and it's OK. It's also OK to meet new people and try new things. It's OK to remain single if you're not 100% sure you want to be with a person. Simultaneously, the show acknowledges that one will never be 100% sure.

It discusses issues and doesn't settle on easy answers. Love is individual and complicated, there's no point in giving universal advice, since it won't work out for everybody.
