6. How Long Until EZ And Emily's History Causes Some Real Trouble?
EZ and his ex-girlfriend, Emily, have what could only be described as a complicated relationship. We know from flashbacks that they were together, seemingly whilst the two were studying at Stanford University. We also know that, after EZ went to prison, he chose to split up with Emily, believing his life was over. As a result of this break up, we are led to believe Emily aborted the couple’s child.
Flash forward to present day and Emily is married to cartel leader, Miguel Galindo. The couple also have a child together. After Emily is hospitalised during a rather dark scene in a church, EZ visits the hospital secretly to check up on her. Unfortunately, Galindo’s henchman spots EZ and reports the meeting. Galindo threatens to kill EZ should anything like this happen again.
In this case, it’s not a question of if sh*t will hit the fan in this love triangle, but when it will happen. This toxic three-way is bound to boil over at some point and the outcome could be catastrophic. Galindo is known to have a short, murderous temper when he feels betrayed and we could bet money on this betrayal taking place at some point in the upcoming season.
