MCU: 10 Big Questions Surrounding Marvel's Disney+ Shows

8. How Is Vision Alive?

Even before Infinity War, it was obvious to any fan that Vision was living on borrowed time. With Thanos on the hunt for the six infinity stones, it didn't exactly bode well for the character that had one embedded in his forehead, and it would have been the anti-climax of the decade if the Mad Titan hadn't collected all six.

So it came as no surprise when Thanos removed the stone from Vision's head, killing the humanoid instantly to the dismay of his partner, Wanda. When WandaVision was announced then, naturally fans were confused as to how Vision would be able to return, considering the sizable dent Thanos made in his face.

The answer isn't that the show is set before Infinity War, like Black Widow, as Kevin Feige has confirmed it will take place post-Endgame, nor is the Avenger likely to have miraculously survived. Since he was in Wakanda it may have been possible for Shuri to recover his body and bring him back, however T'Challa's little sister was taken in the snap.

The answer is possibly what Kevin Feige meant when he said the events of the show will tie directly to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Could WandaVision take place in another reality or universe?
