MCU: Every Guardians Of The Multiverse Member Ranked From Worst To Best

When the first episode of What If…? dropped, fans were left somewhat underwhelmed by the story revolving around Captain Carter. It lacked as a ‘what if’ story, but episode two more than made up for it with an incredibly fun episode based around T’Challa’s Star-Lord.

With his list of accomplishments, and the sheer amount of times he saved the universe, it’s easy to see why he was chosen by The Watcher. He was deservedly given a huge task in the battle against Ultron, something without which their plan never could have worked.

When battling the Collector on Knowhere, Star-Lord used his ‘sticky fingers’ technique to steal the remote control for the exhibits’ cages from Tivan. Here, he used the same tactic to dispossess Ultron of the Soul Stone, sending it on towards Gamora and the Infinity Crusher.

It’s not T’Challa’s fault that the plan didn’t work, he did his part faultlessly, but in the end it was rendered almost inconsequential. For the rest of the battle he did little more than get his ass kicked by Ultron.
