MCU: Every Guardians Of The Multiverse Member Ranked From Worst To Best
6. Gamora
Just like everyone else, the worldwide pandemic over the last two years greatly affected the Marvel Cinematic Universe, causing numerous reshuffles, infuriating delays, and one episode of What If…?’s first season to be lost.
Instead of seeing Gamora and Tony Stark fighting on Sakaar and gaining the Infinity Stones, Thanos’ favourite daughter joined the Guardians of the Multiverse with no backstory. This immediately put her at something of a disadvantage when compared to her teammates, who had all already been the focus of an entire episode, and unfortunately struggled to ever really catch up.
She brought from her universe the Infinity Crusher, a device designed to decimate the Infinity Stones. This could have made her one of the most integral pieces of the team, however the Crusher from her universe wasn’t compatible with the stones of another.
The entire plan hinged on Gamora doing nothing but waiting while the rest of the team fought Ultron, delivering her the Soul Stone to destroy, but even when it came to the one part she had to play, she fell short.
