MCU: Every Guardians Of The Multiverse Member Ranked From Worst To Best
3. Captain Carter
Though her individual episode of What If…? was arguably one of the weakest season one had to offer, Captain Carter herself was one of the highlights. Based on Peggy’s portrayals in the MCU so far, having taken the super soldier serum she was everything you would expect her to be.
When she was drafted into the Guardians of the Multiverse, Captain Carter wasn’t phased by the multiversal theory, the fight ahead of them, or even the cosmic Watcher. If anything, she embraced the bizarre circumstances, and thrived while leading them into battle.
A Captain not just in name, Peggy went on to cement why she was worthy of the title. Not only did she help T’Challa get the Soul Stone, she covered Nat when her protection spell failed, and got the assist for the arrow in Ultron’s eye.
However, arguably her greatest moment as part of the team wasn’t in battle, it came using her words. Like Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson’s Captain America, and T’Challa’s Star-Lord, Captain Carter used diplomacy and a cool head to diffuse a situation that could have been catastrophic. Instead of another fight on their hands, the Guardians found themselves an ally in Natasha, thanks to Peggy.
