The Marvel Cinematic Universe brought the world to a stop with one singular moment. The infamous finger snap from your favourite violet villain Thanos at the end of Avengers: Infinity War created a reaction that no other Marvel movie had ever managed to do before, and would be very unlikely to replicate again. The movie left audiences across the world in shock, feeling like they had their hearts physically ripped from their chests as they watched their favourite heroes turn to dust.
The second part to the Infinity Saga Avengers: Endgame captured that feeling of loss perfectly. Often very silent and sombre it hit the perfect tone needed to reflect on that universe altering moment, before rallying together what is left for one last charge into one of the most awesome feelings of closure in cinema history.
But naturally overcoming something as devastating as half of the universe vanishing requires exceptional leadership, masterful motivation and some light-hearted humour to get though the darkness.
