7. Continue With The Same Dark Tone
The MCU works incredibly when it's operating at its most familiar tone. The Marvel Netflix shows worked equally as well when utilising a darker tone. So, attempting to force those series' to acclimatise to the tone of the MCU would be a mistake.
The atmosphere present in shows like Daredevil helped to make them what they were, adding a level of uniqueness that defined them from other comic book content on TV. They were also reflective of the characters' comics - and for good reason; the Punisher wouldn't exactly be too menacing if he couldn't shoot people in the head, after all.
Making these characters more family friendly in properties like Avengers is completely fine. Just don't do it in the characters' own series - as it would dilute the original vision that resonated with viewers in the first place.
