1. Tortoise Mimicry
If you had the power to turn into something else, what would you turn into? Another person, with superior abilities to yours? A God-like, all-powerful deity? How about an animal, such as a werewolf, perhaps, allowing you to stalk your prey without giving away your identity. Well, apparently, one currently unknown character ignores all of these suggestions in series 5, and turns into a tortoise. Yep. A tortoise. Why would anyone want to transform into a tortoise? I mean, apart from the fact the land-dwelling reptiles live for a long time, they have very few other advantages. They're slow, for a start, and horribly reclusive creatures. One, unnamed character has this power in Misfits, a member of the 'Power Support Group' seen early on in the fifth series, and has the apparent ability to retain their human intelligence, despite the new body they've occupied. Who knows, maybe the "Tortoise Mimicry" power will turn out to have its advantages after all, but right now, we can't think of any good ones.
