2. The Professor Planned To Get Caught By Alicia
The Professor is one of the smartest criminal minds to have ever lived. He has been leading the police and the government round and round in circles, while keeping himself and his crew just out of reach. Hence, many people believe that every single time the Professor does find himself cornered, it’s merely a part of his plan.
This enters proper crazy territory when it comes to his sort of capture at the hands of Alicia. At the end of part 4, the infamous Inspector has her foe cornered, only for nature itself to come the Professor’s aid. Alicia goes into labor and is forced to accept help from her greatest enemy, in order to ensure the survival of her child.
The theory suggests that somehow the Professor was aware of the approximate day Alicia was due, and then timed everything so that there would be a good chance she went into labour on the day of their encounter. If it happened when she was with him, then he could use this to get her on their side, if not, then well at least she would out of his hair for the foreseeable future.
