Stockholm was first introduced to the show as Monica Gaztambide, a seemingly timid and mild-mannered secretary at the Royal Mint of Spain, secretly having an affair with the mint's director, Arturo.

At the time, few people would have predicted Monica's path as she ended up falling in love with one of the robbers, turning on her former employers, and adopting a life of crime with the rest of the gang.

While Monica herself isn't always the most exciting member of the group, her arc has been really fun to watch. The secret love story between her and Denver had some really cute moments in the early episodes, and since then we've seen her character grow a great deal, becoming far more confident and assured than ever before.
