Moon Knight: 10 Characters Who Could Appear In The Show

Countess Valentina has been popping up throughout 2021’s Marvel releases, seemingly recruiting different people for a bigger project. Having successfully employed US Agent during the finale of Falcon and the Winter Soldier, as well as pitting Yelena against Hawkeye to avenge Black Widow’s death, the Countess’ underlying motive seems to be destructive.

Most theories suggest that Val could be building up a Dark Avengers team, which would eventually get called into conflict with the original (yet seemingly absent) Avengers. The enlistment requirements revolve around skilled individuals who have an obscured source of authority, such as John Walker’s rise to US Agent. Marc Spector’s allegiance with Khonshu along with a history of brutal executions seems to fit Val’s search query.

Although Marc seems to complete the Countess' checklist, there is still a lingering detail which has always stuck with Moon Knight. The Fist of Khonshu does not enjoy working in a team. Though Moon Knight has had some experience fighting alongside other titular superhero groups during the comics, his execution techniques and personal conflict with himself and Khosnhu really dampen his cooperation with other heroes. However, the Earth and it's inhabitants always comes first for Moon Knight, making him bend his own rules about teams to successfully stop incoming threats.

Kevin Feige has stated that the mysterious Countess will be making waves in the MCU sooner than expected. Will Moon Knight’s debut also include some more details surrounding Val’s team?
