Moon Knight: Every Main Character Ranked From Worst To Best

6. Khonshu

Throughout the MCU, we have seen Asgardian gods, demigods, Celestials, gods with little gs, and Titans who thought they were gods, but with Khonshu came the franchise’s first foray into the realm of Ancient Egyptian deities. Though he was far from the only one, he was the chief God character of the series, and this was a lot of pressure to put on him.

His design was incredible, and he could be fantastically creepy at times, with the scenes chasing Steven down the hallway a highlight, however it eventually became impossible to take him seriously. The voice given to him by F. Murray Abraham was comically over the top, reminiscent of a cartoon villain. A bad one.

While he was used sparingly throughout the series, being encased in stone at the end of episode three until midway through the finale, he came back with a bang in his fight with Ammit. All in all however, Khonshu definitely gave off a less is more kind of feeling throughout the entire series.

Arguably his best moments were where he didn’t speak at all. Maybe he should have been kept that way, only being heard through Steven or Marc, with his presence merely being felt by his image stalking ominously in the background. This could have made his fight with Ammit even greater, as it would have been the first real time he was called into action.
