6. The Cyber Bombings
Although he's certainly no angel, you can't feel anything but bad for Elliot during this episode. It's one thing to deal with an enemy that is constantly trying to thwart you, but when the enemy is yourself, you can imagine things can get a little overwhelming.
The majority of the episode is spent watching Elliot trying to stop the ECorp bombing in New York. As we mentioned already, it was a pretty bloody battle between Elliot and Mr. Robot, but he won out in the end. Or so he thought. As he walked away from the New York ECorp building, feeling a sense of accomplishment from stopping it from blowing up, he notices that those around him are in a completely different mood. They're in shock, but he's unable to figure out why until he gets in front of a TV.
There he realises that although he managed to save the New York branch, 71 other ECorp buildings either exploded or were set on fire, leaving thousands dead and blood firmly on his hands.
