Mr. Robot: 21 WTF Moments That Left Fans Stunned

One of the best parts about Mr. Robot is that we get large portions of the story from Elliot's perspective. His mind and memory are so disjointed that even though fans are seeing things one way, there's a strong possibility that he's failing to inform the audience of something important.

Anyone who watched the first few episodes of the show probably felt that the mysterious Darlene character was the girl that Elliot would eventually be romantically involved with. They have so much in common, they're constantly around each other and she acts a certain way around him that shows she's super comfortable.

Feeling like there's a connection between the two, Elliot leans in and kisses Darlene on the lips. However, instead of kissing back, like many expected, she screams in disgust. This quickly turns to heartache when she realises that Elliot doesn't remember that she's his sister.

Although it's absolutely gross and disturbing that these two kissed, it's not gross and disturbing in the same way that Cersei and Jaime Lannister were in Game of Thrones. Honestly, it's just a sad moment as we watch Elliot struggle to remember, then have to come to grips with what he did.
