Mr. Robot: 21 WTF Moments That Left Fans Stunned

Although we've had plenty of glimpses of The Dark Army's awesome power, this moment stands out as the first time we saw how savage they actually were. On the surface, they're a terrorist group with a near-endless pit of resources. However, The Dark Army are really like a force of nature, destroying everything in its path in brutal and violent ways.

Dom and her team of F.B.I agents are in Beijing to meet the Ministry of State Security, Minister Zhi Zhang, which just so happens to be the alias of Whiterose. In true Mr. Robot fashion, we were lulled into a false sense of security. It seemed like Zhi Zhang and Dom actually got along with each other, following a conversation after a tense diplomatic meeting, in which the Dom demanded all the available information on the Dark Army.

While it seemed like she had dismissed Dom's request, as we've come to realise during this show, nothing goes unpunished by Whiterose or The Dark Army. While Dom and her team were chit-chatting in a hotel lobby, two masked Dark Army operatives walked in and unleashed a hail of bullets, killing nearly everyone there. Although Dom manages to survive the shootout, she clearly realised that The Dark Army are no joke.
