It's long been known that My Hero Academia doesn't shy away from death. From the Stain arc, where the man in question had murdered 17 heroes, to the Overhaul arc, where multiple Yakuza members and Magne of the League of Villains, as well as Sir Nighteye at the end of their raid, all lost their lives.
My Villain Academia raised this toll even higher when the League fought the Liberation Army, ending when Shigaraki leveled a huge portion of Deika City.
It isn't until the War Arc, however, that we see a significant body count among heroic allies, with many losses incurred both during the battle and in the moment an enhanced Shigaraki awoke from his artificial slumber.
The most prominent of these include the hero Native, who Iida saved during the Stain arc; Magic Hero Majestic, who Momo and Tokage do their work study under during the World Heroes Mission; Shield Hero Crust, Number 6 in the Pro-Hero charts, who gave up his life to save Aizawa and others from Shigaraki's decay; and R-Rated Hero Midnight, beloved teacher and friend to UA's students and staff, who was killed in the fight to subdue Gigantomachia.
