My Hero Academia: 10 Insane Events Coming To The Anime

Dabi's mysterious origins have long been theorised over, and as more is revealed in the anime, more signs point to his connection to Flame Hero and Number One, Endeavor.

In the biggest, and perhaps most anticipated, revelation of the entire series, Dabi reveals himself to be Endeavor's eldest son, Toya Todoroki, who Endeavor long assumed dead. Though many fans might have guessed this twist by this point, it isn't just the reveal that shakes the story and characters to their core, but the reason and manner in which Dabi reveals it.

With Skeptic broadcasting it to the public during the heroes's fight with Shigaraki, Dabi reveals not only that Endeavor's son is a mass murderer and that Endeavor himself was an abusive and neglectful father, but also that Winged Hero and Number 2 Hawks killed Twice in cold blood, all in a (fairly successful) attempt to destroy the public's faith in their top heroes.

Much of the public no longer trusts heroes to protect them after this, and though he still fights to save people, Endeavor himself seems broken by the reveal, realising he will never be able to kill his own son, whose loss he mourns to this day.
