5. The Punisher Costume & Synopsis

"After the murder of his family, Frank Castle is both haunted and hunted. In the criminal underworld, he'll become known as The Punisher."

That's the only synopsis we've got so far for The Punisher, which isn't a great deal to go on. Indeed, it tells us little more than we already knew about the character from the comics or his appearance in Daredevil.

More interesting, and indeed revealing, are the various set photos that have emerged while the show was filming. As you can see from the images above, Frank Castle is definitely donning his classic Punisher costume in the series. We saw only a brief glimpse of it at the end of Daredevil Season 2, but it seems they won't be shy about showing it off this time around, and it looks pretty badass.

Most of the set photos also show Brenthal's Castle with a lot of facial bruising - he gives plenty out no doubt, but it looks like he takes a fair bit in the series too.
