Netflix's Love, Death & Robots: All 18 Episodes, Ranked Worst To Best
2. When The Yogurt Took Over
After scientists
accidentally breed super-intelligent yogurt, it soon hungers for world
domination.
Yeah, you read that title correctly. When the Yogurt took Over is a documentary style tale of how, well, the Yogurt took over. As was touched on earlier, randomness can be funny, and this episode is a prime example.
The writers more than likely said, “What’s the most random thing that could take over the world?” and Yogurt was the answer. The humour starts with the decision of the yogurt and from there the writers crack the wittiest and smartest jokes they could think of.
The shortest episode in the series packs the most in it, ironically enough. The animation doesn’t add anything nor takes anything away; the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs style cartoon is simple enough to let the humour shine. As funny as it is, it’ll make you think next time you’re in the dairy aisle at the grocery.
