Netflix's Marvel Universe: 10 Major Reveals From Comic-Con 2016
6. Cornell Stokes, Mariah Dillard, And Shades
While a lot of the focus was understandably on its lead character, with actor Mike Colter making an appearance at the panel too, there was some time for the villains of the show.
The trailer has a brief scene between Cornell Stokes (Mahershala Ali) and Cage, but it's the clips we haven't been able to see that reportedly gave the best glimpses of the bad guys.
One such scene is said to have shown Stokes threatening a man and going on about how he relates to Notorious B.I.G. (there's those music connections again), and another of him having something of a temper tantrum, and then a clash of heads with Mariah Dillard (Alfre Woodard) over how best to control Harlem, with Dillard getting the better of the exchange.
Theo Rossi was also on-hand to represent his character Shades, and the actor actually wore sunglasses all through the panel. Shades was described as looking at the world as a chessboard, with Loeb going as far as saying that he's the "Littlefinger of the Luke Cage world."
