Obi-Wan Kenobi - 10 Things You Missed
2. The Spice Girl
It's not surprise that Obi-Wan Kenobi has its fair share of cameos.
Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea plays Reva's mercenary, Vect. Despite his dishevelled hair and unkempt beard, you may have noticed Boba Fett himself, Temuera Morrison, portrays the homeless Clone Trooper. If you were really paying attention, you may have spotted the show's director, Deborah Chow, as the Jedi who's instructing the Younglings in the first episode.
Although appearances like this are nice, the coolest cameo is also the easiest one to miss.
Episode II opens with Obi-Wan walking around Daiyu in search of Leia. When a spice seller called Tetha Grig stops Obi-Wan, he asks her for information to find his "daughter, who was taken". She tells him children regularly disappear on Daiyu before gifting him with a free spice to help him forget his daughter ever existed.
Even though this is quite a sad scene, it's even more touching when you know Tetha is portrayed by Ewan McGregor's daughter, Esther. Her line, "I was somebody's daughter once too" becomes more poignant when you realise the actress is actually speaking to her father.
