Obi-Wan Kenobi Part III Review: 6 Ups & 3 Downs

8. The Inquisitor Power Struggle

One of the main reasons the pace of the episode feels a little off is the episode's inclusion of the Inquisitors, a menacing force who have been given their own subplot outside of their shared quest for Obi-Wan.

Though the performances of Moses Ingram and Sung Kang continue to shine, the power struggle between Reva and the Fifth Brother in the wake of the Grand Inquisitor's "death" feels frustratingly underwhelming, adding little characterisation and watching like lazily plotted filler.

Since we're halfway through the show already, it seems odd that this feud would gain so much focus, and feel so dull in the process.

It might come to something further on, but right now the Inquisitors have emerged as the show's most wasted opportunity, and their petty squabbles have done nothing to elevate the drama that surrounds them.
