Obi-Wan Kenobi Part III Review: 6 Ups & 3 Downs

5. Natalie Holt's Atmospheric Score

This week's episode had a lot of shocks in store, the vast majority of which work so well thanks to the brilliant score of composer Natalie Holt.

As with the previous two episodes, Holt's music works in perfect harmony with the inner conflict of the characters, capturing the morose heartache of Obi-Wan and then blending it seamlessly with the fear, apprehension, and thrills of the action he's forced to face.

When, in the episode's final act, Obi-Wan comes face-to-face with his greatest foe, Holt's booming orchestral sound and brief detours into crushing silence allows the danger to feel horribly real.

Star Wars has always been a great franchise for music, and Holt has earned her place as a worthy addition to its sound.
