Obi-Wan Kenobi Part V Review: 7 Ups & 3 Downs
5. The Cliffhanger
Part V is an episode of endless twists, all of which hit the notes they're aiming for, and one of the best is the last act cliffhanger.
Having escaped on a transport with the remaining rebels, Obi-Wan realises Haja has lost his holoprojector, which Reva finds and uses to learn Vader has a son on Tattooine. To add insult to injury, the hyperdrive on the ship is broken, and they're still being pursued by the Empire.
The episode ends with a lingering shot of a sleeping Luke Skywalker, hinting that the finale is going to shift focus to the future Jedi Master, caught in an horrific, life or death situation that brings Obi-Wan into his most personal challenge yet.
With just one episode to go, Obi-Wan Kenobi has a lot of great loose ends to tidy away, each promising the series will end on a thrilling emotional high.
