Obi-Wan Kenobi Part VI Review: 9 Ups & 1 Down
8. Natalie Holt Continues To Impress
Natalie Holt has been one of Kenobi's most vital and consistent players, capturing the energy and nostalgia of John Williams' original Star Wars' score beautifully.
In Part VI - like so many of the episode's major players - she outdoes herself once again, this time offering up a booming score that captures the aforementioned happiness within the final scenes, whilst highlighting the heartbreak and violence that continues to plague Obi-Wan.
Holt's music particularly soars with the episode's epic action sequences, which bring to life not only the brutal fighting prowess of those involved, but also their emotional connection.
Much like Williams' work in the original and prequel trilogies, Holt has no issue understanding the depth of emotion and thrills at play. It's truly a masterclass that elevates the episode's drama, and hopefully this is the start of a brilliant career.
